Wow that's interesting. I've only had this tractor for about a year. Never have used it heavy just some snow removal and running the mower. I've just thought it used a lot of gas. Everything I read said the 3 cylinder fords were great on fuel consumption. When I got it basically everything had been rebuilt including the motor. The guy I got it from pointed out it had a Zenith carb on it. I've looked and there appears to be no adjustments on it. Can't find anything on the net. Thought maybe it was running to rich. I looked at my gas cap after it popped off and in the center there is a small circle with a spring loaded center. I figured that was the pressure relief. I moved rather easily when I pushed it with a small screw driver. I have a feeling something isn't right but not smart enough to figure it out Ha. Like I said it seems to run ok though. I guess I don't know though for sure since I can't compare it to another running 3000.
