I concur with the majority here -go to the pros. After attempting to do it myself, once, I found it is easier and faster, but not necessarily cheaper to just take it to the pros. They have all the proper tools and equipment and is still worth the extra $$$ IMHO. It'll save your back, busted knuckles, and a lot less cursing as well. Call them first and ask -some want the tires dismounted, some say keep them on the tractor. My guy wants them dismounted as he has all the hoists, cranes, jacks, lifts, power tools, and dollies to maneuver things with. It is easier for me to just trailer the entire tractor and take it to them. I'll gladly pay a little extra to not have to deal with removing the wheels/tires at home and then trailering them to him 30 miles away. That way I get the new tires installed, then mounted on the tractor and all I have to do is haul it back and forth.
