A perfect example of why to always use the original part. These N's were designed so major components like carb, distributor, generator, starter, water pump, hydraulics, et al could be rebuilt over and over, even still today. If a part like a carb was deemed unusable, I'd invest in an original used one off fleabay and rebuild it and avoid anything 'new'. Most ALL new parts are made in CHEEMA today, at least the larger ones. There is no Quality Control, and many were just reversed engineered by some 20 year old kid and cloned with may shortcuts taken. Back 10, 20 years ago when parts were being made in India or Brazil, they at least were making attempts to get it right.
