9299 I have 1952 8n which I have owned for many years. It is positive ground; 6 volt. It has been rewired with new wiring; as original. This last weekend when I was running it I noticed that the amp gauge was registering more '+' positive; than I remember it ever doing. When I shut down the engine I heard a noise and when I checked it I noted that the generator was still spinning! This was with the ignition key off! Switching 'on' and 'off' did not stop anything. I then removed the battery cable, and then it stopped spinning. A little while later I hooked the battery back up and everything was fine again and I started it as I normally do and ran it again a bit and then shut it off and the generator did not spin again this time. I started it again later and it was again OK except for the '+' ammeter. I have never experienced this and am wondering if it could be a regulator problem. As mentioned the only thing I thought to be not 'normal' was the ammeter being too much on the 'plus' side when running. Anybody have any ideas? Thanks, KTM
