Good morning. I have a 1943 2n serial # 111677 and need to remove the axle pin and bushing as I am returning it to a wartime model. Finally got all the parts to do this. I had a loader on it so first step is the axle pin. I have been searching the archives with really not much help in removel but came across one post from Jim UT about a exrta long axle support. I have this support and on the engine side I also have a slotted opening with little pockets that may be for the crank to rest after starting. I was wondering does that slotted piece have to come out to get the bushing and pin out. The post was from some time ago so the pictures were not available. My question is, is there a trick to removing the pin and bushing does it come out the front, the back????? Can I even get a pin??? All the pins I have seen have the flange on it. Thanks for any help..
