Hi all,
I recently ended up with a 1947 8n that had been in a barn about 6 years. The gentleman I got it from had his son in law replace the head gasket. The reactor was never started after that because he noticed the head gasket was still leaking and didnít want to put anything else into it. Long story short after getting it back home using a little atf to soak the cylinders to make sure they were free (they were thankfully). Put a new head gasket on checked plugs wires etc. and tried to start it. Getting fire good compression (around 90 lbs) and gas to carb. Brand new carb btw. Not getting any gas to the cylinders. Any help would be awesome and greatly appreciated. Also when I drained the oil it was brown gray milky color and thin out of the pan but oil in the filter was black but no water. Could 5-6 yeas of central tx weather have made that much condensation in the oil? Wondering if I should go ahead and do a rebuild or leave it since everything looks good. My main concern is why Iím not getting fuel to the cylinders and it wonít start. If it helps it also still has the 6v system with can style coil. Thanks sorry Iím so long winded
