What, only missed by a few thousandths! That's pretty close for parts from the land of almost fits. I had a similar problem once upon a time, and solved it by taking a sharp cold chisel and "dinking" around the edge. Each impact groove displaces material to either side, increasing the overall diameter. A more professional method to do that would be to knurl the OD of the collars. That is a lot of effort/expense to make parts fit that should have been machined right to begin with. If we return more defective parts, maybe the quality will improve? Guess I can dream about new parts that fit right.
