Wanted to say thanx for the info and give an update. Am doing a 4x4 and diesel conversion to a 9 n that was going to be junked. We are moving forward (slowly between weather and work) on the conversion. Have put the new frame in place, 2"x3"x1/4" attached from the rear axle. Front axle has been mounted (went with a GM 2 1/2 ton front axle - new gears are being made for the diff, along with the shafts - had to shorten the housing to match with width of the rear axle). The engine mounts are in place and the block has been bolted in for measurements. The orbital has been put in place and will be using hydraulic steering on the front. The loader has been matched up and mounting points are in the works for it. A lot of work still to go, but has been a lot of fun so far. Will post a link to the build page on facebook once we get our act together lol.

Issues as of now, whether to run a power stering pump to power the orbital and use the pto for the loader, or go a full hydro pump route. Getting the sheet metal to look good with the changes in what's going under it, and figuring out how to put a bigger tank in. Finding a radiator that will fit but still be enough to work with the engine.

For those wondering am going with the 7.3 non turbo diesel engine.
