I'd say that unless MPC's state at what s/n changes were made, one can only speculate, especially with the early 9Ns. As 9N production began ramping up, many changes were made 'on the fly' and never documented in the parts books. Parts like the adjustable LH lift link; 6-Loop 32" rear rims; and aluminum hoods are examples. It is often quoted that the aluminum hoods were only used on the first 700/800 tractors and no breakpoint ever actually documented.
