Yesterday, I removed my starter switch and JB'ed a penny to it. The starter button felt good again, but the starter will still not spin. Jumping the starter cranks the engine. Jumping the starter switch cranks the engine. The key switch has continuity. I cleaned up all of the connections and the battery is fully charged. At this point, I am leaning towards a bad starter switch. The switch is new last summer, but who knows, maybe. I'll remove it again and bench test it this morning.
Chasing electrical problems isn't as much fun as I hoped. What am I missing? Anyone have any ideas?
