Short Version: Starter button on tranny doesn't contact starter switch down below the dash. It feels loose, doesn't "stop" like it used to. Starter does not turn. Jumping starter starts engine. I remember someone talking about JB Welding a penny to sometime to take up the slack from wear. For the life of me, I can't remember what they were gluing a penny to? Was it the starter button, or the starter switch or the connecting rod? I've searched the archives for a couple of nights now with no luck. Does anyone other than me remember this?
