You can also use a degree wheel using a dial indicator on number one cyl. stop at .050 before tdc then adust pointer on degree wheel close to tdc reading then spin motor backwards till dial indicator reads .050 again and read wheel split the difference with the pointer this will give you tdc also for ingnition timing you can use the coil wire it will be 4 times as bright just my two cents
