IIRC, the 4000 sold for $1,900 or $2,000.
It needed some TLC: Clean fuel tank and carburetor, exhaust pipe, new crankshaft pulley and belt for PS, swinging drawbar and attention to drawbar mount, etc., but was running well.
Like all of the others, it had 4 new tires and tubes. 14.9s on the rear. One of the PA rims was in bad shape the other looked OK.
I would have bought it at $1,500 in order to swap some things back and forth with my 64, 4000 retirement project but it's just as well that I did not.
With a little TLC it should be worth somewhere around $4,000.
The clutch clevis pin was in the short hole and, so far as I know, nobody bidding knew that it had live PTO. The buyer didn't even know how to drive it. I showed him how to use the 5 speed but forgot to mention the clutch clevis.
