Harold's recommendation to have Dan redo your pump is a good one. Dan will take care and fully check it out I am sure. He has a setup to run it to check it's performance as well as I recall from one of his past posts.

If you decide to do it yourself with new parts be careful to ensure the new gears fit so they are flush with the front face of the pump, if not, the end clearance may be too much and you will experience low pressure. I had the experience of rebuilding the pump with one of the kits and after installing had pressure of about 8 psi at idle and maybe 15 psi at normal speed and temperature. turned out the new gears were about 0.007" shorter than original and the gasket was about 0.008" thick giving about 0.015" end clearance. I put the old gears back in which came up flush and got a new gasket from New Holland that was 0.005" thick. That solved the problem and pressure remains normal ever since.
