UTF type fluids are fine for use in your 2N. However I would avoid the "303" branded UTF's as they are the lowest possible quality imaginable and are not suitable for use at temperatures below 32F. Stick to a more premium type product like TSC's Premium Universal Tractor Transmission fluid. I am not hawking the TSC product - it is just a readily available example and there are plenty of other brands that will perform just as well and cost roughly the same. NAPA, Walmart, Sam's Club. Blair. etc. all have their own house brands. The premium UTF's are well worth the $10-$15 extra it will cost for a 5 gallon pail.
If you want to use an SAE 80W90 gear oil that will also work fine. The hype about yellow metal safe is pure FUD when it comes to an N-series tractor.
