My 1954 Naa ford has leaky steering box the leaking seems to be gaskets for both side plates held on with 2 bolts each with a nut in the middle of the plate. The leaking is not where the shafts come out of the box.
1. What gear lube oil should go in box, I live in Minnesota?
2. Is there a liquid sealer product that would stop my leaking so I don't have to take box apart to put in new gaskets on the side plates. Note I did try to tighten the 2 bolts on each side plate and they were all tight.
Thank you,
