The latest and last chapter in this saga. I promise.
Pulled plug wires one at a time, the reaction was the same on all 4. Rpm slowed and engine smoothed out. Pop still there.
Picked this tractor up a couple years ago. Has always popped. I finally have time and room in the shop and did a tune up. Pulled dist. to clean. Needed it real bad! Fly weight were stuck and it could replaced.(dist.) Why is it cheaper to buy a whole dist than to buy parts to rebuild one? This was made in USA. Not land of never right. I realize the new parts are probably not made here.
Oh and compression is 95 lbs across the board. Not the best but are equal.
I am going to use this old girl and keep looking. If I find it I will keep you informed.
