We're unsure if you are new to the PTO driven world of implements, so I'm just spitballin' here, and by no means trying to insult your intelligence. You do know the PTO Drive Line extends in and out, right? It is a two-piece unit, with the tractor end having a square shafted male part with a U-Joint differential knuckle on the end with a female 1-3/8 splined coupler. That attaches to your tractor PTO shaft. The shaft then fits into the other half of the driveline, with the square female end. At the end of this piece is another U-Joint differential knuckle that is attached to the gear box of the implement. The shaft needs to be kept greased so it slides in and out easy when using it. We just want to be sure we're all on the same page here. Doesn't seem like they would sell you something that wouldn't work right. Did you get an assembly/operator's manual with it? Tell us what model number of the County Line PHD you bought, that will also help us determine what the problem is.
