Hi Dean -

Im testing it without the air intake connected to the carb. The fuel is good, and I am using a test bottle to feed it. I was hoping to get it warmed up so I can torque the head down.

I didnt mess with the distributor, the timing or the valves and when I pulled the rocker arm off and pushrods I labeled them all so theyd go back in the sane spots.

I'm hoping I'm correct in assuming that because I have veey good even compression that there os nothing catastrophic wrong. Maybe a gasket leak on the intake side?
