You don't need them on everything like seems to be the modern myth.
And you sure don't need them on a phd.
I never used them on any of my implements - plow, disc, rear scoop, york rake, phd, back blade, finish mower, sickle mower, boom pole, etc, etc.
Except, when I bought a real heavy Bush Hog brand rotary mower I broke a check chain bracket on a side hill.
Now I use it on that implement and nothing else. And when I get this new to me, bigger tractor running I will quit using them on that.
Millions of farmers put billions of hours on these tractors without them. But now days it seems you gotta have them or surely you'll die... or worse.
Try it without them once.
You'll be fine.
