steveVa,no,what I did was turn a slightly oversize slug out of steel(it's the same thickness as the dash metal).shrunk and press fit the slug into the hole in the dash.then to be sure it stays I soldered it.the solder also left no gap between the metal so it looks like it was punched.then the small square hole at the bottom was soldered shut from the back side.turned the dash over and soldered three tabs on the top.then carved the solder tabs so they look like the punch marks from the factory.i used lead solder so it was easy to carve.i just didn't know how else to do it.what do you think?i am always looking for better ideas!
