Warmed up the 1945 2N to do a second compression test. 1st cylinder was 80psi, 2nd was 75psi, 3rd was 65psi and 4th was 75psi. I wet checked the 3rd cylinder and it was 70psi. The numbers look better, maybe not great but the tractor is a 1945. If the compression on the 3rd cylinder increased with oil, would that mean the rings are a little worn? The tractor still has hesitation in throttling up, some small back firing if you would call it that. Have not put it to a test in the field because its 34 degrees here in South Dakota. What do you guys think? Bob E
