Hydraulic fluid mistake

I put gear oil in the hydraulic sump. This is obviously an error in the extreme. Any thoughts on a fix? Obviously, drain that crap out of there. But what next?

I made the mistake of working on the hydraulics, wiring, starter, and then taking a long-ass time to paint some of the parts. So it's hard rule anything out (or remember anything). When I finally got the thing running (last night) the hydraulics were not moving at all---the lift arms were in the full down position with the draft-control switch v. Only ran for a minute or so.

Would appreciate any advice or ideas!
