Nice weather in Georgia today,so, I went to my hunting land to crank up Hershel(1950 8N) after a long winter's nap. He hasn't run since last Sept/Oct so I figured the battery was in need of a recharge after such a long spell. 12V conversion.
Removed the tarp, went to open the fuel pet-cock (found I had left it open all this time - messes me up every time), pulled the choke out the width of my index finger and touched the starter and varoom! Started up immediately. My 2007 Ford Ranger doesn't start that easily!!!
So proud I kissed his steering wheel :-)))
Let him idle for 20 minutes to charge up everything an give the lubricants a chance to circulate around.
My boy done me proud.
