Used to have a Ranger bass boat that had a 24V trolling motor. When those batteries needed charging, a switch on the front panel was switched. The charger (12V) was hooked up and charged both batteries. I believe there was some kind of isolator in the switched circuit. This was on a mid 80's boat, so nothing THAT technical. I googled "24 volt trolling motor charging schematic", lots of results. Hope this helps. Mark
