I have no idea what the going rate is to mount a tire /tube on a rim. I change all of my own tires, and am a bit puzzled. Normally, it is more difficult to dismount a tractor tire than to remount it.

I remember struggling the first time I did this decades ago but persevered and it has saved me money and time thereafter. You may want to have another go at it. It will be much easier next time.

You do not use a hammer to mount a tractor tire. You will need two good tire spoons. I bought mine from Gemplers. You will also need something to lubricate the beads. I use rim grease, also from Gemplers, because it prevents rim rust making dismounting in the future much easier, but dish soap will lubricate the bead for installation.

FWIW, I find front tires more difficult than rear tires but either will become routine with experience.

Did I say that you will need two good tire spoons?
