Yeah. The local boys are a bit high priced to do a 11.2 x 28 tire. I think a flat repair run about $25 dismount/mount plus whatever the fix takes. A new valve stem patch adds about $15 to the price and I think a regular patch is 5 or 10 on top of the dismount/mount. I went out and bought the duck bill hammer before I figured that for a few bucks, someone else could beat themselves silly. The hammer is around here somewhere as a reminder.
I took one of my old tires down to a newer tire shop and the kid, I mean KID, filled the old tire up to 35 PSI. I went from a few minor cracks to a near disaster.
I asked him about it and got a great response of "Thets how we dun it un the farm..."

As for your tire, If you do get it mounted, I can tell you to inflate it and deflate a few times before you insert the valve stem. That will help to keep the tube from pinching.
