Interesting piece. Note the tag "1943" is not a date code, it is the Model or S/N from Engineering. FORD/DEARBORN engineered many prototype devices that never hit the market. Other implements were exclusive to certain parts of the country like Kelly Equipment, almost all in west cost applications. The Dearborn Cotton Picker was a southern product and then only a few made before they pulled the plug on that idea.
