I had a similar problem.i tried penetrating oils and a torch. Finally resorted to pulling on a stump to wiggle the blade loose. The first time I used the blade the pipe which holds the blade broke and the blade separated from the frame. I welded a short piece of pipie for the broken piece of pipe to fit over along with an additional piece of metal to the horizontal pipe and then welded the piece of pipe broken off. It has worked well since being repaired. I would recommend making the shorter round piece Long enough so it would be easier to attach inside by welding, it has to be short enough so you can weld it to the horizontal pipe.
