Greetings from a Noob!

Noob to tractors, noob to ag, noob to implements. I bought a Towner/Dearborn 11-22 offset disk which is complete and in working shape. It is missing the telescoping link and seat bracket. These have been identified in the manual posted on this site, figures 10 and 11. I'd like info on replacement parts, or dimensions of both. The bracket I can have made, but I'm more curious about the telescoping link.

Is the link "active", such that it moves with the action of the disk? Or does it instead stay at a constant distance, once it is set? If that's the case, why not use a modern top link there. Or, lengths of bar stock cut and drilled to various lengths might serve the purpose. Tedious and inconvenient to change out frequently, yes, but if used infrequently as mine is, it might be easier than fabricating something, or hunting one down...

.

so again, if you could help me find the link and bracket, dimensions or drawings of the link, and ideas for a workaround...

Dan
