You don't need a smaller pulley, Brian. the stock pulley works fine as long as the saw setup is stock original too. When I bought my saw, the guy also had it Farmerized to a CASE tractor. It was missing the wishbone bracket and the legs. I borrowed a friends original parts and had another friend of mine make me those parts. He teaches high school metal shop full time and works in a metal fab place part time so it was pretty easy and cheap. Parts books list the belt length at 8' 6". Another way to go is to find another saw that you can get cheap and cobble the parts off of it.
