Hi all! My name is Bryce, I frequent the Yesterdays Tractors Forums. I am 16 years old, and I have 16 tractors, Farmalls, JD's, Ferguson TO-30, and one of my favorites, and 1945 Ford 2N.

I was recently given a mower by a friend. He bought the mower thinking that it would go on his 8N. He DID get it on there, however he said "stuff just wasn't right"?? It has a serial tag on it, and all I can make out is that it is a Ferguson mower, and there is a 6 in the model slot (along with other numbers/letters, they are just un-readable).

So, here's what I know:

Belly mount,
5 foot,
2 V Belt Driven,
Came with two different size pullys for the PTO.

Looks to be all complete, and like said, he says he had it on his 8N, and had it working, but didn't like it because he "knew" it was only supposed to be on a 9N/2N.

So, I have never heard of a "Ferguson" implement built for a Ford tractor. I thought all the "pre breakup" stuff was Dearborn, and then after the two split, Ferguson had Ferguson implements, and Ford had Ford stuff?

Will this fit on my 2N? Is it worth restoring and sticking on there? I think if nothing else it would be cool for mowing roadsides and stuff... I'll keep my JD's for knocking down hay! :)

Thanks, Bryce
