Not in Pa. More than likely it's a bad bearing in the trans. The transmission will have to be removed to replace the bearing. Depending on how bad the bearing is and use of the tractor it could last a couple of years or go next week. The 8n tractors aren't going for a lot of money in our area. You might be able to pick up a non runner for a couple/few hundred dollars and switch the trannys out yourself. If you go on the board section they can help you thru the process.
