What exactly do need the hand crank for? I understand wanting one as part of the tractor original shipping kit, but a huge innovation that the 9N introduced us to was the electric starter motor so magnetos and cranks could be obsoleted. I find a hand crank more useful when rebuilding an engine and need to turn engine with out actually starting. I also use one like now with my early 9Nin storage and the gas tank filled with diesel fuel to prevent rusting, I will go to the barn once a month and hand turn the engine around several times to lube the cylinder and walls. Just curious...
