  • Dewalt 18v batteries
  • My Dewalt 18v XRP batteries need replacing. Internet says Dewalt has discontinued these batteries. Some reviews say if you do order some they come from China an are not any good. The next option is buying a 20v adapter kit that will run your 18v tools. Has anyone used one of these and are they good. Amazon has got them for $154.00, 2 batteries and charger and adapter. Thanks

  • Roby, did you ever buy that conversion kit? If so, is it worth it? I've got a Dewalt 18v jig saw that is unusable right now.

  • My son had the adapter setup (until it was stolen!) & it worked well except his would drain the battery if left hooked between the battery & the tool. Don't know if that's typical, but was his experience.
