  • Radius arms
  • When the radius arm ball ends wear out on the N tractor there is no replacement head ends available that I can find. Replacement ball ends are available for the Ferguson t-20 and t-30 series tractors. Anyone know if the balls are the same dimensions?

  • All I have ever done when there is play in the socket is flatten a copper penny with a hammer and insert the flattened piece in the socket and tighten the bolts back up and no more movement in the socket.

  • Key word being "Copper". I believe those are pre-1980. Other experts should chime in shortly to tell me I am incorrdct.

  • I believe you are correct. The new pennies are copper clad zinc.

As far as the radius rod ends, I use a piece of leather cut from the tongue of an old boot. Lasts until the next time I take it apart.
